HomElectrical Donates to Local Boys and Girls Club

KENNESAW, Ga. — HomElectrical has donated school supplies to a local Boys & Girls Club for the 2015 school year to emphasize the need for children to start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. The Boys & Girls Club was selected as the recipient non-profit organization due to their mission to “enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” This donation is used to support students, teachers and the local schools.

HomElectrical strives to make a difference in the community and giving back to those in need. CEO David Lu believes, “It’s our civic responsibility to give back to our community and invest into our children, who are our future.” The company donated a large selection of book bags, pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, and much more so each child is prepared for the 2015-2016 school year. “HomElectrical wants to ensure that the children have the basic school necessities to be successful,” he continued. “To be able to contribute and support our community is very important to us.”

The donation was made on July 22nd at the Cherokee County Malon D. Mimms Boys & Girls Club for their End of the Summer Bash. The kids wrapped up their summer camp and were surprised with school supplies they got to take home.
