GUELPH, ON – Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) is pleased to announce that they have now expanded the product data attributes supported within IDW (Industry Data Warehouse), achieving the Silver Band of Excellence.
The Industry Data Warehouse (IDW) is a data portal, managed by IDEA (Industry Data Exchange Association), that enables distributors to securely access accurate and current product information from manufacturers, enabling them to promote products in a more consistent and organized manner.
In order for HPS to qualify for Silver, 90-95% of stock products in the IDW are required to be populated with spec sheets, product attributes, images and detailed descriptions. In addition to product specifications and dimensions, the data will also include links to specification sheets, brochures and other technical information.
“HPS understands the increasing need for product information and the IDW portal is a convenient way for HPS to share data with hundreds of member companies.
