EAGAN, Minn. — Hunt Electric is excited to announce that Jude Wimberger has joined the company as its first Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). The new role will help guide Hunt Electric’s growth and shape how it looks at the customers and markets it serves.
Wimberger brings to the role more than 20 years of experience building enterprise growth engines and leading commercial strategy, business development, and market expansion at medical technology companies Medtronic, Philips, and Endologix. Most recently, Jude founded Pathways Management Services, a fractional strategy and marketing practice that advises mid-market services and manufacturing companies.
Throughout his career, Wimberger has led strategy as a cross-functional enterprise capability. That work includes setting market and customer direction, instilling disciplined deal-approval and go/no-go processes, and integrating acquisitions into scalable operating models. He holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
As CSO, Wimberger will focus on Hunt’s growth opportunities and lead the business development, marketing, estimating, and communications teams. That means setting direction on the markets, customers, and projects Hunt Electric pursues, and being clear about where it chooses not to compete. The goal is a healthy, balanced approach that fits the company’s capabilities and long-term objectives.
“Growth only works when it’s matched to our ability to deliver,” said Jeff Young, President, Hunt Electric. “Jude will bring fresh eyes to the market and help us see opportunities in a different way, while working alongside our teams to make sure we pursue work we can execute at a high level. We’re thrilled to have Jude join us at such an important time and help us build on the trust we’ve earned.”
“Hunt Electric has built its success one project and one relationship at a time,” said Wimberger. “Great companies keep asking where they can go next. I am excited to build on that foundation with this team by understanding what our customers need and where the market is headed, choosing where we grow in a way that fits who we are, and developing the leaders who will take us there.”
Growth Built on Delivery
The CSO will work closely with Hunt Electric’s leadership team to ensure every decision reflects its people, operational capacity, and long-term direction. The role also sits on the executive leadership team and will help shape enterprise strategy, leadership development and organizational capability. A key focus will be developing the next generation of leaders.
A Defining Moment
Hunt Electric’s strength has always come from its people, customers, and the work it delivers. The CSO will help build on that by looking closely at where the company can grow next—whether that’s new markets, new customers, or new ways of working.
The company’s growth also benefits from being part of Evergreen Holdings, an employee-owned group of member companies. Each operates independently while sharing resources, expertise, and a long-term view as Evergreen Holdings pursues strategic acquisitions and expands its capabilities.
As an employee-owned company, it makes decisions with future generations in mind. That reflects its core purpose, Connecting People with Opportunity, and it’s at the center of this role.
