ARLINGTON, Vir. – The Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc. (IDEA) today announced that one million items in the Industry Data Warehouse (IDW) are now fully attributed and populated with essential product data within IDEA’s Data Certification Program.
The count of these complete, or “compliant,” items in the IDW has grown from 16,000 in early February 2015 and continues to rise every day with the help of our manufacturer participants. The manufacturers displayed below have all achieved at least 95% compliance for their IDW items, and others have committed to reaching this achievement by October 1. IDEA thanks all participating manufacturers for their significant contributions.
This increase in complete product attributes and transactional information in the IDW, supplied directly from manufacturers, enables distributors to create product catalogs, populate web stores, and remain competitive online while manufacturers gain stronger visibility and brand recognition throughout the supply chain.
