IDEA Introduces Customer Training Portal

ARLINGTON, Va. — IDEA Connector℠, a Master Data Management (MDM) platform that enables distributors to securely access accurate and timely product and pricing data directly from manufacturers, is expected to launch in late September.

To assist with the training of customers on the new platform, IDEA will be introducing an online learning management tool, the “IDEA Learning Portal,” which will be loaded with comprehensive training information and documentation. IDEA will also host four training sessions at eBiz, which will be devoted to manufacturers and distributors. These training sessions will dive deeper into specific content to ensure a complete understanding of important functionality. The Client Solutions team will also host follow-up appointments in the Innovation Hub at eBiz to provide individualized one-on-one IDEA Connector℠ training.

The IDEA Connector℠ team has completed the initial configuration and development of the platform and the project is on target for its scheduled launch. Functional and performance testing will be conducted beginning in May, and user acceptance testing will take place through the summer.
