DENVER, Colorado – September 3, 2014 – With the academic year in full swing, IECRM (www.iecrm.org) is excited to share news of a $6,000 donation it has received from QED, an electrical distributor in Denver with 13 locations across the western United States, and a longtime supporter and Platinum Industry Partner of the organization. The donation will be used to bolster and expand recruitment for the IECRM Four-Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program, which provides a rewarding career and educational pathway to over 850 aspiring electricians, annually.
The donation was presented on August 25th by David Dahl, Branch Manager at QED, as part of his recently launched, company-wide initiative to donate a percentage of QED sales to IECRM educational programs. This year alone, QED has donated over $10,000 to IECRM.
“David’s commitment to the future of our industry is tremendous. His generosity and partnership to help us achieve our goals is unparalleled,” said Spenser Villwock, IECRM CEO.
Members of the IECRM trade association can directly contribute to the QED donation program by continuing to purchase electrical supplies through any QED location. On a quarterly basis, QED donates a percentage of those sales to IECRM.
