IES Holds 3rd Annual Food Drive

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Independent Electric Supply, headquartered in Somerville, Massachusetts, held its 3rd Annual Food Drive in support of local food pantries in Somerville, the Elizabeth Peabody House, and New Horizons Food Bank in Manchester, New Hampshire. Together, during the month of September, the five branches of Independent Electric Supply raised over $2,800 in cash donations and donated over 300 lbs of non-perishable food to the pantries.

“l am very pleased to see the effort our employees and supplier partners put into making our 3rd Food Drive so successful. It’s very important for our company and our employees to give back to the communities we live and work in,” said Dan Gray, CEO and owner. “I also want to extend my thanks and appreciation to all of our suppliers, including ABB/GE, for supporting our efforts with the drive and Bob Trolander, V.P.-Marketing and Business Development, and Taylor Troy, Digital Marketing Specialist, for organizing the event.”
