Independent Electric Supply Changes Leadership

Independent Electric Supply, Billerica, MA, recently announced a change in its leadership team:

Wow we have come a long way in 31 years. With a modest beginning, dreams of success, realistic plans and an abundance of hard work, Independent Electric has grown significantly since our founding in 1992. We started with a single location, a few employees, one truck and minimal inventory. Now we have grown into six locations, two sales offices, a National Accounts division and an Energy Services division spread across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. With the addition of our new CDC, an expanded inventory, a fleet of trucks and many more employees, we are proud of how far we have come. As we continue to invest and grow the business, we have come to an inflection point where we need to add some additional structure at the executive level.

Bob Trolander

Bob Trolander has been named Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing and member of the Executive Committee. Bob joined Independent Electric Supply in 2016 as VP- Sales and is currently VP-Marketing and Business Development.

Bob’s focus will be to work with the inside and outside sales representatives in conjunction with the lighting and gear departments to drive share within our existing customer base in addition to expanding into new customers and markets.

Jeff Cronin

Jeff Cronin has been named Senior VP–Operations and Purchasing and member of the Executive Committee. Jeff is a veteran with the company and is currently VP-Operations and Purchasing.

Joan McNamara

Joan McNamara has been named Senior Vice President–Commercial Lighting and member of the Executive Committee. Joan joined Independent Electric in 2000 and helped develop our commercial lighting department and is currently VP- Commercial Lighting.
Along with our Advisory Council, this will help us with our vision and the execution of our strategic plans. We continue to look for new opportunities to grow and solidify our place as a leader in the Electrical wholesale space in New England.

Sincerely, Dan Gray, CEO/Owner and Bruce Gray, CFO/Owner
