Industry Veteran Tim Altick Joins FDL Automation & Supply

SIDNEY, Ohio – FDL Automation & Supply Company, an electrical distributor serving west central Ohio, today announced that Timothy Altick has joined the company as an account manager. Tim brings to the company over 36 years of experience in the electrical distribution and automation industries.

“The addition of Tim is huge for us as a company; he brings a plethora of knowledge and experience covering our entire industry,” said Rob Zielsdorf, FDL vice-president of sales. “Tim’s made a significant impact on our business, and we anticipate great returns on his sales abilities.”

Tim began his career in 1977 as an automation specialist for Martin Electric in Dayton. Since then, he has held integral roles as a field technician and account manager with Rockwell Automation, Sprecher + Schuh, Belden, and most recently, CBT Company in Cincinnati. Having attended Miami University, Tim has also completed several electrical co-op programs.

Altick’s sales accomplishments and awards are many, having recently received the Belden Wire & Cable President’s Club award for two consecutive years, as well as receiving the CEO Club Award for sales professionalism.

Tim and his wife, Debbie, reside in Middletown with their three children. In his spare time, he is active in his church and enjoys reading, gardening and traveling.
