JACKSON, Miss. — Irby, a Sonepar company, held the ribbon cutting of its new downtown Nashville, Tennessee facility on Thursday, September 12. This additional space, located at 2500 Cruzen Street, will allow Irby to better serve commercial/contractor customers by featuring a 28,000+ sq. ft. warehouse and counter area of fully stocked inventory to accommodate customer needs. This is Irby’s second Nashville location. The first location in La Vergne will continue to focus on serving industrial customers and offering support for the new downtown location.
The grand opening featured 17 key vendors showcasing the latest products the electrical industry has to offer. Over 200 customers had the opportunity to tour the new facility, learn the latest on new industry products, enjoy a special catfish lunch (catered by Uncle Bud’s) and register for valuable door prizes. The Nashville Predators Energy team was on-hand to greet customers and to assist in the door prize drawings.
“A new facility in this market has been on the radar for quite some time,” said Mike Leech, President of Irby. “We are excited to have it completed, and we look forward to serving our commercial/contractor customers with a broader inventory selection for years to come.”
