ASHBURN, Virg. — B2X Partners announces that Jason Hein joins the company as a Partner. Hein's addition to the company expands B2X Partners' expert eCommerce and PIM services.

With a career approaching 20 years, Hein brings a wealth of industry-leading experience to B2X Partners. Prior to entering the consulting industry, Hein worked at Amazon, launching many of the current categories for Amazon Business. There he led a team to build product content for vendors in Amazon's Industrial & Scientific category – pioneering new processes and collaborating with external teams to enable product attributes and taxonomies needed to categorize and sell industrial product.

Hein joined Amazon after over a decade of experience at McMaster-Carr – an industry leader in eCommerce for industrial/MRO products. There he designed content-based merchandising strategies as well as working as part of the group that laid the foundation for McMaster-Carr's transition to their first web-ready Product Information Management (PIM) system.

“Jason is a fantastic addition to the B2X team,” said Founder Bob Lewis. “With a background that combines B2B eCommerce best practices and practical experience with a variety of industrial product lines, his unique perspective will help our clients build a competitive and sales-focused DigitalBranch™,” Lewis added.

With B2X Partners, Hein will expand content strategy and develop world-class processes for rich product data and optimized product merchandising, all with a laser focus on driving customers' eCommerce success.

Hein has a Master's in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Theater Arts from Carleton College. Hein is a regular speaker for both the NAW (National Association of Wholesalers) and ISA (Industrial Supply Association), where he was a keynote speaker in the inaugural ISA 360 series at the ISA national convention.  He currently resides in Seattle, Wash.
