John White Retires From KE Electric Supply

John White has retired from K/E Electric Supply, effective Friday, February 7th. In a big splash sendoff, local customers, vendors and employees joined John and his family at Tina’s Country House in Macomb, Mich. The party for John was a “White” retirement party, with employees wearing all white Team-K/E shirts in a show of love and support for the long-time General Manager of K/E Electric.

John was one of the first two employees hired for K/E Electric, when it was formed as a subsidiary of Kuchenmeister Electric Supply in October 1988. John started his first day as the company purchasing agent, then moving to head buyer during the expansion of the 1990s. John’s final promotion came in February 2000, when he took the reins as General Manager of all operations. John’s service to the company has lasted more than 25 years.

During most of John’s tenure, he maintained the role of “IMARK Navigator” throughout the company’s relationship with the national buying group (now an international entity).

John and his immediate family continued Friday evening’s celebration with customers and employees aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Victory on a five night passage. John and friends flew to the Port of Miami, to complete the final phase of an expansive customer promotional event named “Cruise 50/25.”

John’s role as General Manager has been accepted by company V.P. Rocky Kuchenmeister. John’s role as IMARK Navigator has been appointed to Rhandi Kuchenmeister.
