ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — KNIPEX Tools LP has named Matt Laga as automotive sales manager. In this position, Laga is responsible for providing the strategic direction of sales development with current and prospective customers that operate within the automotive channel of distribution.
Laga has more than seven years of industry experience. Prior to joining KNIPEX, he worked as a sales and service manager and a regional sales manager in the automotive division for Penray Companies Inc. In 2015, Laga was awarded “Salesman of the Year.”
“Matt has forged great relationships with customers through his hardworking attitude, dedication to understanding products and extensive sales training,” said Todd Shumate, president, KNIPEX Tools. “We look forward to seeing Matt bring this attitude to KNIPEX’s sales team and continue to increase sales figures with current KNIPEX customers and add new avenues of distribution.”
Laga lives in Chicago. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family and cheering for his favorite Chicago sports teams.
