Kovalsky–Carr Edges Closer to $500,000 Goal

Kovalsky–Carr Edges Closer to $500,000 Goal

Kovalsky–Carr Electric Supply of Rochester, N.Y. has taken another major step forward in reaching its goal of $500,000 in support of the Wilmot Cancer Institute.

Arnold Kovalsky presented a check to representatives of the Wilmot Cancer Institute at a celebratory luncheon on September 29th. The check in the amount of $70,000 brings total funds raised to $360,000. “The goal is very aggressive,” Mr. Kovalsky explained, “but with the continued support of our business partners we will be successful.”

Once again this year, the funds were contributed primarily in support of the annual K-C Cup golf event. The golf competition brings out customers and vendors for a fun filled day at the local Irondequoit Country Club. The Platinum sponsors this year included LeGrand,NA/Pass Seymour/Wiremold, Point Source Group, Eaton/Cooper Lighting/B-Line, Schneider Electric, Square D. and ESL Federal Credit Union as a Gold sponsor. Without their support this achievement would not be possible.

On behalf of Kovalsky-Carr and the Wilmot Cancer Institute, Mr. Kovalsky would like to thank all the loyal customers and vendors who support the ongoing campaign to fund cancer research.

The Wilmot Cancer Institute provides a distinctive combination of cutting edge research and compassionate patient care. This is all made possible by community leadership demonstrated by Kovalsky-Carr, and the engagement of their customers and vendors.
