ROME, N.Y. — Kris-Tech Wire, an insulated copper wire manufacturer headquartered in Rome, NY, recently promoted Kevin Watkins as its new Sales Team Leader.
A veteran of the electrical industry, Watkins first entered the electrical wire and cable world as an electrical contractor at Brendan Stanton Inc, a company that specialized in industrial and commercial electrical construction. After Brendan Stanton, he moved into the distributor side of the industry and became the commodity manager at Billows Electric. Kris-Tech Wire then hired Watkins as the sales manager for the northeast.
In his new role as Sales Team Leader, Watkins will oversee the sales strategy for the organization’s national sales team.
As for his thoughts on his new role, he is thrilled.
