LEDucation 2026 Issues Call for Speakers

LEDucation is pleased to announce that speaker proposals are now being accepted for the 2026 Conference, taking place April 14–15 at the New York Hilton Midtown. Virtual sessions will kick off the week before, setting the stage for an inspiring and dynamic experience.

LEDucation welcomes submissions from both established professionals and emerging voices whose insights can contribute to meaningful dialogue and innovation within the lighting industry.

The LEDucation Conference draws expert lighting and architectural professionals along with those who are new to the industry—many seeking CEUs. Be sure your submission includes actionable takeaways and practical guidance that participants can immediately apply in their work.

LEDucation is seeking presentations on the following topics:

  • Sustainability and material transparency
  • Codes and compliance issues
  • Lighting for health and wellbeing
  • Lighting design tools, communication, metrics, and methodologies
  • The business of lighting in different market sectors
  • Emerging LED, OLED, and controls technologies
  • Case studies of lighting design applications
  • Lighting design and specification topics

LEDucation 2026 will open on Tuesday, April 14, with exclusive access to the Exhibition Halls for designers only. This new initiative aims to enhance the experience for design professionals by offering an exclusive time block to visit manufacturer booths for efficient, in-depth engagement.

Eligible attendees for Designer Hours include lighting designers, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and engineers.

Tuesday, April 14
9:00am – 11:30am Designer Hours Only
11:30am – 6:00pm Open to the Public

Wednesday, April 15
9:00am – 3:00pm Open to the Public
