LEDVANCE Names James Johnson as Managing Director For US and Canada

WILMINGTON, Mass.—LEDVANCE, maker of SYLVANIA general lighting products in North America, announced James “Jim” L. Johnson, Jr. as Managing Director for the company’s US and Canada region. He will be based in the company’s North America headquarters in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Jim brings decades of lighting experience to this new position, including first-hand knowledge of OSRAM SYLVANIA heritage through his past roles with the organization. From his start with GTE Sylvania in 1985, Jim held positions of increasing responsibility across multiple locations and businesses, including leadership of the Valeo Sylvania joint venture and culminating in his role as CEO of OSRAM’s Global Traditional Lamps business.

“Jim is an effective, efficient manager with a keen sense of how to lead in a complex, strategic environment.
