MELVILLE, N.Y. — Leviton announced the appointment of Stephen J. Yunker as a national account manager for Leviton's Distribution Channel Sales Team. Yunker brings his experience and engagement with large, complex national channel accounts to Leviton after a distinctive 27-year sales career at Ideal Industries. His background includes field management experience with both direct field salespeople and manufacturer representative firms.
As the national accounts manager for his previous employer, a role he has held for the past 15 years, Yunker handled sales with several major distributors and managed a wide-range of field activities, consistently achieving above-market growth. He also successfully developed growth initiatives based on research to assist field management in refining sales plans to exceed goals for these accounts in their respective geographic markets. For a period of three years, he also directed a Sales Training and Development Program that created tools that enhanced and improved field sales productivity.

Yunker received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northern Illinois University and resides with his family in the Chicagoland area.
Leviton is pleased to welcome Stephen Yunker to the Leviton Sales Force in his new position. He will be reporting to Bill Cheetham, vice president of distribution sales.
