Jeff Frost owned one-half of Frost Electrical Supply and was a part of the company for more than 39 years. CED acquired Frost in 2019, but Jeff Frost remained a part of the company following the transaction. The company provided the following obituary:
Jeffrey Ragen Frost passed away peacefully on February 18 after battling brain cancer. Born on August 27, 1960 to Dale and Kathleen Frost, Jeff is survived by his wife Molly; daughters Berkley (Spencer) Minton and Hayley (Nate) Freeman; sons John, Brian, and Daniel (Paulina) Lee; his parents; siblings John (Nim), Jim (Sandy), and Julie Frost; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Jeff graduated from Ladue high school (class of ‘79) and the University of Missouri – Columbia (Kappa Sigma, class of ‘83). As a long-time employee and beloved co-owner of Frost Electric Supply, he oversaw the company’s expansion and proudly employed hundreds over the years across Missouri and Illinois.
Jeff’s uniquely upbeat spirit and energetic personality gained him the respect and endearment of all those who knew him. Jeff celebrated and rejoiced in all that life had to offer, gaining him the affectionate nickname ‘Frosty.’ As an avid Missouri sports fan, he never missed an opportunity to catch a Tigers, Cardinals, or Blues game. Jeff loved playing golf, socializing at the Algonquin Country Club, and vacationing at his cottage in Michigan.
We will all miss Jeff’s cheerful, gregarious personality and find peace knowing that he celebrated family, friends, and life at every opportunity.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Brain Tumor Association to support glioblastoma research.
VISITATION will be held on Sunday, February 27 at Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122) from 3 – 7 pm. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held at First Presbyterian – Kirkwood (100 E. Adams Ave., #4019, Kirkwood, MO 63122) on Monday, February 28 at 10:30 am.
