Mayer Electric Supply once again received recognition as a Top Workplace by Atlanta Journal-Constitution. This is the third award for this group of Mayer locations. Each of Mayer’s twelve Georgia branches were recognized in this achievement. The Top Workplace award is based on responses to an employee engagement survey that are taken by associates about their overall satisfaction working for the company.
It is a great honor for Mayer to be recognized as a Top Workplace to work and it is important for the company to continue to attract the best and brightest associates by focusing on the strengths and weakness pointed out to management from the results of the survey. The factors for being considered as a Top Workplace are referred to as the Alignment, Execution, and Connection which are driven by senior leadership. The employees must believe in where the organization is headed, how it is going to get there, and have the feeling that everyone is in this together. The results from the survey help management develop and implement strategies to create a more effective workplace and to continue to improve the performance of the business.
