Metro Wire and Cable hires for corporate level leadership position

Metro Wire and Cable has hired Nathan Tallman as corporate
development and marketing director.

Tallman will be responsible for leading the company’s
strategy for public relations, community outreach, human resources, goal and
vision setting, marketing and social media, corporate development, government
relations, compliance, and employee development.

Prior to joining Metro Wire and Cable, Tallman worked as the
corporate director of government relations at Ross Learning. He also previously
held administrative and faculty posts at Northwood University and Central
Michigan University.

Nate to our team at Metro. Not only will he bring a focus on employee
development and leadership, he will also bring a strong business development
presence to our growing organization,” said Donald Ezop, president and CEO of
Metro Wire and Cable.

Metro Wire and Cable—one of the
top 200 electrical distributors in the country, according to the company—was
founded in 1976 in Detroit and is now headquartered in Sterling Heights, Mich. The
company established a Southeast Regional Distribution Center in Atlanta in 1981
and a Midwest Regional Distribution Center in Iowa City, Iowa in 2008.
