Mike Chabot, Vice-President Business Development USA for Stelpro, announces his retirement after 42 years in the electrical industry, effective July 2014.
Mike held an invaluable role in the grassroots growth of the various companies founded by his brother, John Chabot, that eventually led up the acquisition of Stelpro in 1994. Mike was an active shareholder in the Stelpro organization until 2006, at which point the company was succeeded to John¹s second generation. Due to his vast experience and tenacious spirit, Mike nonetheless maintained an active role in the business following this succession.
Mike celebrated many high points throughout his career at Stelpro, and can take full credit for the development of both the english Canadian and USA markets to help position Stelpro as one of the leading electrical heating manufacturers in North America today.
