NAED Names Incoming Eastern Region VP-Elect

The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) has named Jeff Van Zandt as the incoming vice president-elect of the Eastern Region. Van Zandt was elected by the Eastern Region Council, which represents NAED member companies in the Eastern U.S. 



“I am looking forward to serving the NAED and the Eastern Region as the incoming vice president-elect,” said Van Zandt, who serves as executive vice president for Tri State Supply. 



“I like the fact that I’m helping a great organization like NAED to continue to improve and touch so many leaders in this industry.” 



Van Zandt has been in the industry more than 20 years and has served on NAED’s Eastern Region Council since 2010, has participated in the Congressional Fly-in. 



Tri State has been the leader among full line electrical distributors in western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and southeastern Ohio for more than 50 years. 



As an NAED regional vice president-elect, Van Zandt will serve on the NAED Board of Directors, help lead the region’s conferences, council meetings, and other events. 



Scott O’Day, vice president of Sales & Marketing for Controller Service & Sales, currently directs the Eastern Region Council. 



NAED is the trade association for the $70+ billion electrical distribution industry. Through networking, education, research, and benchmarking, NAED helps electrical distributors increase profitability and improve the channel. NAED’s membership operates in more than 5,100 locations internationally.
