NAED Virtual LEAD Conference Registration Now Open

NAED has made the difficult decision to adjust our annual LEAD summer conference to a virtual event due to COVID-19 safety concerns. This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the NAED LEAD Conference and we are excited to still be able to offer this event to our members through a virtual platform that will enable attendees to do the work, collaborate and engage.

This year’s theme is Strategic Collaboration, “From Me to We” a Leadership Development Program Competency. This 2020 LEAD event will be led by Dale Carnegie Facilitators, Billie Bright, Katie Lane, and Jacqueline Wilson. The first step in collaboration is the self-awareness of how you communicate and work with others. Attendees will complete an assessment prior to LEAD, uncovering your communication and personality style. This training will be customized by drawing from the anonymous data collected from all attendees.

One of our most popular events at LEAD has been our LEAD to FEED event where attendees volunteer at a local food pantry at the host conference city. This year, our LEAD to FEED community give-back program is going virtual too! Please consider making a donation to Feeding America as the need to serve communities across the nation is stronger than ever.

Last but not least, Scott Costa with tED Magazine will host the annual 30 under 35 Happy Hour and Celebration from 4:15 – 4:45 pm!🍸

When: July 16, 2020
Time: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. CDT
Early Bird pricing of $199 available until June 25
