GREENVILLE, S.C. — Hubbell Lighting announced that Nancy Stathes has been appointed to the 2016 Lighting Industry Resource Council (LIRC) Steering Committee. The LIRC was formed “to provide a framework within the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) for enhanced communication between professional lighting designers and manufacturers and to create an environment conducive to the collaborative improvement of products, services, business practices and lighting design education.
Stathes serves as Vice President Specification Sales and Marketing at Hubbell Lighting and has worked in almost every capacity within the organization during her 27-year career. She is well-known for facilitating interaction between the design community and manufacturers, and she consistently identifies and develops new tools for designers. Stathes has earned several patents for her lighting solutions.
Stathes, an active 15-year member of the LIRC, will serve a three-year term from 2016-2018.
