NEMA Announces Additions to Executive Committee, BOD

ARLINGTON, Va. – During its recent Board meeting, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) appointed new Executive Committee members and Board directors.

“The latest additions to NEMA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors – together with our growing membership – strengthen NEMA’s capacity to shape the future of the U.S. electrical manufacturing sector and the markets we serve,” said NEMA President and CEO Debra Phillips. “In our centennial year, NEMA remains laser-focused on engaging with policymakers, industry leaders, and other allies to advance the policy priorities, technical standards, and technological innovations needed to strengthen U.S. manufacturing, accelerate infrastructure deployment, and power the next era of U.S. growth.”

NEMA confirmed the following new members of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors:

New Members of NEMA Executive Committee:

  • Gerben Bakker, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, Hubbell Incorporated
  • Andrea Pirondini, CEO, Prysmian North America

New Members of NEMA Board of Directors:

  • Jeff Drees, CEO, Mission Critical Group, LLC
  • Ganesh Ramaswamy, President and CEO, Southwire Company, LLC

“With more than $185 billion invested in domestic production capacity since 2018, the U.S. electroindustry is leading the multi-sector campaign to meet soaring demand for electric power,” said NEMA Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth and Membership Alexa Burr. “The broadening of our membership, Executive Committee, and Board affords NEMA a unique opportunity to continue advancing a safe, reliable, and resilient electrical ecosystem.”
