NEMRA’s 2021 Conference Goes Virtual

NEMRA has announced that it will be going to an all-virtual format for its early-February conference.

“As we continue to navigate our way forward, our first priority, as I’m sure yours, is the health and safety of our members, staff, and strategic partners,” stated Jim Johnson, President of NEMRA. “While we were hopeful to host this upcoming conference in person, the safety of our attendees is paramount. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic and related government restrictions have forced us to cancel the in-person portion of our annual conference. Yet like many of you, NEMRA has used this challenge to adapt [to] the way it connects, celebrates, and communicates with its members and stakeholders. For the first time in NEMRA’s history, the NEMRA21 conference will be held on a virtual platform.”

The association recently issued the following information:

NEMRA21 has moved to a fully virtual event to be held February 2 – 5, 2021. For over 50 years, manufacturers, representatives and our industry partners have connected, networked and shared best practices. NEMRA is using the latest technology to deliver a conference that will bring the entire industry together in one (virtual) place. NEMRA21 will deliver powerful messages, cutting edge training, insights from industry leaders and delivering best in class, interactive workshops throughout the 3-day conference:

What are the key events during the Conference?

Kellogg Sales Institute’s Craig Wortman and his highly acclaimed “Mastering Sales: A Toolkit for Success” program, market insights from Industry leaders at Legrand, NECA, IEC, Sonepar, a high energy and motivational message from our Keynote Speaker, Tim Tebow, Manufacturer Sales Meetings, One on One Business Review Sessions and several interactive workshops highlighted by leading distributor executives who will share market sentiments and their company initiatives.

Is the NEMRA Annual Conference a trade show?

It is not. However, we do offer a limited number of non–member manufacturers and select business service providers, who are seeking to build a NEMRA rep network, the opportunity to participate in our Product Showcase and Business Service Expo area.

Who may attend the NEMRA Annual Conference?

Dues paying representatives and manufacturers, as well as a limited number of pre-approved manufacturers and service providers who are seeking to build a NEMRA rep network are invited to attend.
