LONDON — nVent Electric plc (nVent), a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, announced the appointment of Courtney Nelson Wills as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, effective October 12. Wills will report directly to nVent Chair and CEO Beth Wozniak and will lead nVent’s global legal organization, including the compliance, corporate governance, and corporate secretary functions. She will be based out of nVent’s management offices in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Nelson Wills joins nVent with more than 25 years of experience spanning global commercial operations, public-company governance, M&A, intellectual property and regulatory and compliance matters. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of MiniMed Group, Inc., a multibillion-dollar spin-off from Medtronic which completed its IPO in early 2026.

Nelson Wills earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
