WEST CHESTER, PA— Omni Cable, headquartered in West Chester, PA, is proud to announce that it received The ESOP Association Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter ESOP Company of the Year Award on September 17th at Annual Chapter Meeting in Scranton, PA.
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is an employee retirement plan in which the employees of a company own stock in that company. Each year the ESOP Association recognizes companies for their commitment to employee-ownership.
“The ESOP Committee is honored that Omni Cable has received this award. Recognition like this is a direct result of continuous diligent work from every employee-owner, not just those on the committee or the trustees,” said Vicki Allin, Omni Cable’s ESOP Committee Chair. “We should all feel a tremendous amount of accomplishment in being honored by the ESOP Association and take pride in the fact that our collective ‘Think, Feel and Act’ like an owner mentality is the driving force of our recent and future success as an ESOP organization,” she added.
Omni Cable employee-owners Steve Glinski, Jeanine Bilotta, Carol Bromback, Pat Lynch, Clint Quedenfeld, Brian VanBuskirk, Jill Schadler, and Casey Christ accepted the award at the September chapter meeting.
As the Pennsylvania/Delaware chapter winner, Omni Cable is now eligible to compete for the national award at the Annual ESOP Conference & 24th Awards Ceremony in Washington D.C. in May of 2015.
