OneSource Distributors, LLC promoted Jason Sarno to vice
president and chief technology officer.
Sarno will continue to report to President and COO Michael
Smith. In his new role, Sarno will manage the company’s programming teams and
infrastructure teams.
Sarno began his distribution software development career as
a senior software engineer at Eclipse, Inc. and ultimately held the title of
chief architect at Eclipse. In 2006, Sarno joined OneSource from Intuit. He
began his career with OneSource as director of information systems in
Oceanside, Calif. Sarno has 15 years of
experience in software development, IT, distribution software and electrical
distribution.
Since joining OneSource, Sarno has developed and integrated web-based
dashboard systems to support sales, operational and purchasing efforts. He also
led the company to enhancements in its enterprise operating system.
In company news release, OneSource said, “Jason’s background
in ERP software development, software architecture, hard goods distribution and
distribution software and technology has been an invaluable asset to not only within
the OneSource Team, but for many of our key customers as well.”
