SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Orbit Industries, Inc. announced that Jennifer Hartpence has joined the manufacturer as Outside Salesperson for San Diego County, California. She will be responsible for driving Orbit Industries’ sales strategies and accelerating market growth by identifying market trends. She will also support the region with training, marketing, and promotional programs.
Hartpence will focus on educating and selling Orbit Industries’ product line to electricians and contractors through electrical distributors.
The new hiring comes as Orbit Industries, Inc. prepares to move its West Coast distribution center to Bell Gardens, California. Less than a two hour drive from the heart of San Diego, this new D.C. promises customers even shorter lead times and faster deliveries than before.
According to Orbit Industries’ President David Nikayin, “This position is all about relationships. Jennifer understands the market and is a master at using all available resources to make things happen and ensure the success of our distributors and contractors. We are fortunate to have Jennifer’s strategic market development, product line positioning, and sales experience.”
Hartpence has more than 18 years of experience within the electrical industry. Prior to Orbit, she was an account manager and branch manager on the distribution side. Prior to that, she held the role of Purchasing Manager at Collins Electrical Company in Sacramento, California. Hartpence is an active member of the Associated Subcontractor’s Alliance of San Diego (ASA). She also serves on two committees for the San Diego chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
