LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Orbit Industries is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Olsen to Regional Sales Manager, effective immediately.
Olsen joined Orbit in 2023 as a Factory Sales Representative and has quickly proven himself as a valuable asset to the team. In his new role, Olsen will lead sales initiatives across the Pacific Northwest region, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.
Throughout his time at Orbit, Olsen has been instrumental in developing new partnerships and expanding the company’s footprint in key markets. He has taken a strong branding-focused approach, working to increase the visibility of the Orbit brand among both distributors and end users. Promoting the capabilities of Orbit’s PROFAB engineered electrical systems has proven to be an effective way for Olsen to engage directly with end users and introduce them to the broader Orbit offering. His collaborative approach and deep industry knowledge have helped strengthen Orbit’s presence across the region.

Olsen brings to the role more than 30 years of experience in the industrial, construction, and electrical industries. His career has been defined by a commitment to customer success. “My goal has always been to truly partner with my customers — to understand how they do business, help them succeed with their customers, and keep both the distributor and end user informed about what’s happening in our industry,” said Olsen.
Schwabacher noted, “Orbit recognized Mike’s hard work and dedication, and I was pleased to be able to promote from within. Mike has recently made the transition to Idaho and will hit the ground running,” said Carrie Schwabacher, VP of Distributor Sales.
