Rexel Energy Solutions Strengthens Sales and Specification Team

TAUNTON, Mass. — Rexel Energy Solutions, a specialized stand-alone business unit of Rexel USA, announced a new sales team comprised of experienced sales executives and lighting and control specialists on the West Coast, along with a specification group. The team, led by industry veteran Mark Bryan as Western Division Sales Leader with a location in Bell, Calif., is charged with driving and supporting ESCO business on the West Coast.

“Rexel Energy Solutions offers dedicated support and creative logistical solutions, striving to increase project cash flow and reduce internal labor costs for ESCO clients,” said Scott Munro, President of Rexel Energy Solutions. “We are working hard to bring our tailored solutions to ESCOs and Retrofitters throughout the country, specifically on the West Coast via this focused initiative. Mark Bryan comes to Rexel Energy Solutions with a strong background in commercial, industrial and retail lighting retrofits and he brings a diverse combination of experience from his past leadership roles in contracting, distribution, and manufacturing. Mark clearly understands the value that each segment partner brings to the table to ultimately serve the end user.”

With 30 years of industry experience, Bryan joined the Rexel Energy Solutions team in February to help drive this initiative. Prior to joining the RES team, he served in various leadership roles for P2/Hubbell Lighting Energy Solutions, Facility Solutions Group (FSG Lighting), Fluoresco Lighting & Signs and Amtech Lighting Services (ABM Industries).

“Mark has a proven history of teamwork, providing exceptional customer service, and a vast understanding of our clients’ needs, which are essential elements to support our continued growth plans in the Western states,” Munro said.

Rexel Energy Solutions is also engaging additional salespeople nationwide to focus exclusively on supporting ESCOs throughout the country. Working with Bryan are four additional seasoned lighting professionals, and RES is currently in the process of bringing on two additional West Coast salespeople. The current West Coast ESCO Sales Representatives include:

Robert Lallement – ESCO Sales, specializes in lighting and controls for Utility programs across the country. Lallement has been with the Rexel Energy Solutions team since November of 2016. Previously, he was with Matrix Energy Services in Sacramento, Calif. for 8 years where he served as Director of Business Development. Lallement is located in El Dorado, Calif.

Mark Osborne – ESCO Sales, has more than thirty-eight years of experience in the electrical industry and twenty-six years of experience working in distribution in various roles including sales, lighting quotations, and lighting design. Osborne is based in Vancouver, Wash.

Steven Wilbur – ESCO Sales, has thirty-one years of experience in the lighting and electrical industry. Prior to joining the Rexel Energy Solutions team, Wilbur served as Regional Sales Manager for Amerillum Brands for 7 years. Wilbur is located in Laguna Niguel, Calif.

Mark Shotton – ESCO Sales, has more than nine years of experience in commercial lighting and controls applications. A mechanical engineer, Shotton has a strong track record of experience working with large ESCO customers specifically focused on Federal, municipal and large commercial projects. Shotton is based in Encinitas, Calif.

Rexel Energy Solutions announced their plans to expand their ESCO support infrastructure beyond their existing geography for stronger national coverage of ESCO customers earlier this year. In addition to the team on the West Coast, and their existing teams in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, they have recently added sales teams in Tennessee, Minnesota, and Illinois, and additional personnel in New York and North Carolina.

Rexel Energy Solutions is a stand-alone operating business within Rexel USA based in Dallas, Texas, the U.S. subsidiary of the Rexel Group.
