Sonepar announces the appointment of Sara Biraschi Rolland, taking over as head of Group Human Resources as of February 1, 2016. She will succeed retiring Pierre Soussand. She will be reporting to Franck Bruel, Sonepar’s Chief Executive Officer, and will be a member of the Sonepar Executive Committee (SEC).
Sara Biraschi Rolland will be focusing on the strategic priority of Talent and helping the Group to be “La Référence” as an employer.
Sara Biraschi Rolland graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Milan University, Italy, with a specialization in Psychology. She has held several HR management positions for almost twenty years, mostly in the Danone Group, a global food company. She has switched from operations—HR Manager for Italy, Mediterranean Region HR Director—to more strategic corporate-level positions in France, such as the Water Division’s Head of Talent Management, VP HR.
