SATCO Promotes Rick Hurst to VP of Connected Lighting

BRENTWOOD, NY — SATCO Products, Inc. is pleased to announce that Rick Hurst has been promoted to Vice President of Connected Lighting.

Hurst joined the Satco team in 2023 as the Director of Business Development / Connected Lighting and lead the development of the recently launched Domino Networked Lighting Controls program. As Vice President of Connected Lighting, Hurst will lead the continued development and market expansion of Domino NLC.

Domino integrates wireless Bluetooth Mesh technology into an extensive program of controllers, sensors and keypads. Additionally, Domino features a unique Networked Luminaire product line with off-the-shelf ready solutions which include purposely built features and integrated sensors. The product line also offers multiple options for non-sensor integrated luminaire projects, providing streamlined installations, value-driven solutions, and optimized performance.

Hurst has dedicated his career to advancing innovation in the lighting controls industry. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Hurst began his career leading the development of Crestron’s commercial lighting control systems as Director of Sales and Marketing, where he built and managed both the internal support organization and national field sales team. He went on to establish and lead the Lighting Controls Division at Enterprise Lighting Sales (ELS) in the NY/NJ market.

Throughout his career, Hurst has built long-standing relationships with architects, engineers, lighting designers, and project teams, earning a reputation for delivering innovative and reliable lighting and controls solutions. With Hurst’s leadership and Domino Connected Lighting solutions, Satco is poised to be a top-tier provider in the controls segment.
