Schaedler Yesco Hosts 2018 Expo

Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc. concluded its 2-day Expo held at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The event was Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

Schaedler Yesco is a full-service electrical distributor founded in 1924. The Expo has been an important part of its business strategy since the 1950’s when simple table displays lined the small warehouse for customers to learn about new products.

This year’s event attracted over 1600 attendees from across the Commonwealth. It featured 98 manufacturer exhibits and offered 50 seminars and training opportunities to attendees. The Expo featured hands-on labs, booth demonstrations and an “Ask the Inspector” area hosted by the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. It was also an official qualifier location for the 2018 IDEAL National Championship and served as the official launch of several innovative products from industry partners.

Participants were widely varied from electrical contractors, to industrial automation and facilities managers and procurement professionals, to principals. This year over 200 students also attended as part of a specially planned “Student Day.”

The event has been labeled a success by exhibitors and attendees alike.

“The resounding opinion from customers, vendors, and team members was that your Expo was an absolute success. You all should be extremely proud to be a part of the best in class team at Schaedler Yesco Distribution,” said Larry Rodger, President of Synergy Electrical Sales. “Your event was exemplary of your organization and I can tell you with sincerity that no one in our market can throw an event quite like you.”

“I really enjoyed myself at your Expo. I thought everything was put together very well and I learned more than I thought I would in the classes I took,” Ben Richardson, Project Engineer at Nursery Supplies, Inc. shared in an email to the company.
