Shaver began his 38-year career in the electrical industry with Bell & McCoy in Dallas in 1982 and transferred to San Antonio shortly thereafter. He was honored to receive the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) National Achievement Award in 1982.

From 2015-2018, Shaver worked in management at Crawford Electric Supply.

In December of 2018, Shaver spearheaded the opening of Lonestar’s new location in San Antonio in a 56,000 square foot facility with 27 exceptional professionals joining the Lonestar family with him.

Shaver shared that, “Lonestar will continue to grow exponentially and is on the right path to becoming the premier electrical distributor in San Antonio through its excellent work ethic and service quality.”

He also stated, “The greatest accomplishment in my career has been to put together this team in San Antonio. Now, my wife, Mary Jane, and I will begin the next chapter in our lives as we retire to our home in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.”

In celebration of Shaver’s influential career in the electrical distribution industry and integral role at Lonestar, Jeff Metzler, CEO of Lonestar, shared, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for Shaver’s invaluable contributions and leadership in San Antonio. He will forever be a part of the Lonestar family and I wish him all the best in his retirement.”
