NUREMBERG, Germany — Siemens is expanding its service portfolio with Circular Repair Services, enabling the refurbishment and remanufacturing of Siemens’ automation products. These services help companies advance toward a circular economy by restoring non-functioning devices, optimizing resources, and reducing scrap. The new offering enables companies to operate their Siemens devices cost-effectively and reliably, increasing plant availability while making lifecycle costs more predictable.
“With Circular Repair Services, companies can choose the extent to which they want to restore the performance and appearance of their Siemens devices to high-quality”, stated Marc Konrad, Head of Global Customer Services for Motion Control. “This comprehensive offering helps our customers extend the useful life of products, use resources more effectively, achieve reliable efficiency and is therefore the direct answer to the market requests we have received.”
Siemens is offering two packages: Circular Repair Advanced and Circular Repair Premium.
The new offering is initially being rolled out in selected countries and for specific products, with plans to expand both the product range and geographic coverage.
