Sonepar announces that Solar Deutschland will be joining the Group, subject to approval from competition authorities in Germany, expected before the end of April 2015.
In the German market, Solar Deutschland operates as an electrical wholesaler with two brands: Solar and GFI. Solar Deutschland serves its customers through 27 branches with almost 360 associates. In 2014 sales were close to 125 million Euros.
This acquisition will expand the geographic coverage of Sonepar in the North of Germany.
