HOPKINTON, Mass. — Scott Howe, Partner and Senior Vice President of Market Development at Hopkinton-based solar company Solect Energy, was elected to the board of directors of the Solar Energy Business Association of New England (SEBANE) on May 24, 2016. Howe has worked in the Massachusetts solar industry since 2011, and this is his first seat on an industry association’s board.
SEBANE is one of the leading solar energy associations in the area. An organization dedicated to helping companies by promoting the use of solar energy and the development of solar power in New England, SEBANE represents the solar industry before state regulators and policymakers with the purpose of advancing progressive energy policy across the New England region.
“I’m extremely honored to have been selected to serve on SEBANE’s board, and I look forward to helping the organization achieve long-term stability for the solar industry, here in Massachusetts and throughout New England,” says Howe.
The SEBANE board is composed of nine directors. Directors serve three-year terms and three of the nine positions come up for election each year. Howe was elected alongside Nick d’Arbeloff (Sunbug Solar) and Eric Krathwohl (Rich May P.C.).
