Sonepar Appoints New Asia-Pacific President

Sonepar recently announced that as of Nov. 1, Eugene Wu will be joining the company. In March 2016, he will succeeding Keith Moss, who intends to retire, as Asia-Pacific Region President. Eugene Wu will be reporting to Franck Bruel, Sonepar’s Chief Executive Officer, and will be a member of the Sonepar Executive Committee (SEC).

Eugene Wu will be focusing on further increasing the prominence of Sonepar in the region. 

After studying engineering in China, he continued his education in electrical and computer engineering, before earning an MBA in industrial administration in the U.S. He has spent the bulk of his career in the chemical industry, both in the United States and in China, and in IT. In those sectors, he has held a variety of strategic and operational management positions, including his appointment in 2012 to the role of Global VP, Asia-Pacific, at Donaldson Co. Inc.
