Sonepar has announced the appointment of Jochen Moll as Group Chief Digital Officer as of October 1, 2015. He will be reporting to Franck Bruel, Sonepar’s Chief Executive Officer, and will be a member of the Sonepar Executive Committee (SEC).
Jochen Moll will coordinate Sonepar’s digital transformation in order to make the Group “La Référence” among technical distribution.
Jochen Moll earned his degree in business administration and computer science in Germany as well as additional certificates from Harvard Business School in Boston and INSEAD in Paris. He has held a variety of management positions, first in System Sales and Marketing at IBM, and subsequently in implementing innovation and reorganization strategies. He later went on to lead the German branch of EMC2 Corporation, a management software and data storage company. Jochen then moved on to become CEO of BizSphere AG, a software and services company focused on sales enablement solutions. More recently, he served as CEO of Intershop, a publicly listed technology vendor for e-commerce solutions whose main shareholder is eBay.
