Sonepar Makes Group Organizational Changes

Sonepar Interim General Management (Marie-Christine Coisne-Roquette, François Poncet and Frank H. Lakerveld) are pleased to announce changes to the Group General Management structure, effective March 1, 2017.

The Group will be managed by the CEO, CFO and COO, who will take over the previous mission of the Sonepar Executive Committee (SEC) and the Regions.

Dave Gabriel, former North America Region President, will become the COO. He will be overseeing operations in all countries except the USA, France and the Central Europe Area, which will directly report to the future CEO.

Patrick Salvadori, former Southern Europe Region President, will succeed Herbert Willmy, who is retiring upon his request, as the head of Sonepar International Services.

Jo Verbeek, former Northern Europe Region President, will manage the Asia Pacific Area, while Eugene Wu will support Greater China project developments.

Luis Arconada, head of Sonepar Spain, will take charge of the Latin Area (Italy, Mexico, Spain, Central America and South America).

This flatter and more aligned organization is meant to reinforce the business focus on local operational excellence and performance.
