Sonepar is strengthening its position in Malaysia with the inauguration of a new automated Central Distribution Center (CDC) and headquarters designed to support the next phase of growth in Asia-Pacific. The ceremony took place on June 18, 2026,
The new CDC combines advanced automation, robotics, and an Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS), enabling up to 86% of daily outbound order lines to be processed through automation. Built for scalability, the facility supports greater efficiency, accuracy, and service performance.
Sustainability was central to the project’s development. Green Building Index Gold certified and equipped with a solar energy system capable of supplying up to 80% of its energy needs, the CDC supports both operational excellence and environmental responsibility.
