CHARLESTON, S.C. — Sonepar USA, a subsidiary of the privately held Sonepar Group, announced that it has launched a women’s resource group, WATT – Women Advocating Today for Tomorrow.
The group hosted a kickoff event at the Charleston headquarters on Monday, September 23 that included refreshments, networking and special messages from Sonepar CEO, Philippe Delpech and Sonepar Chief HR Officer, Sara Biraschi Rolland. In the spirit of inclusion, the event was open to all and also featured a suggestion box and open dialogue regarding the goals and mission of the group.
“We are continuously working to provide an atmosphere for inclusion, diversity and mentorship to our associates,” said Rob Taylor, President of Sonepar North America. “We hope that this is the first of many employee resource groups at Sonepar USA.”
