Stahlin Forms New Distribution Partnership with Univolt UK

Roger Schroder, Engineering Manager at Stahlin, states: “Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures chose Univolt UK for this unique partnership due to Univolt UK’s solid reputation for high quality products and technical support.” The Univolt team has already visited the US factory for technical training, and the Stahlin has had a team in the UK training Univolt personnel. “The Univolt team is [now] fully up-to-speed, yet we will still be available to support them from our US head office, and we have follow-up visits for further support already planned.”

David Mattin, Managing Director of Univolt UK, adds: “We believe there is a significant opportunity in the UK for Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures — in part because there currently are more than 900 renewable energy projects on the books, worth in excess of £4.0 billion. There is also a commitment to make the UK a leading manufacturer of wind power products, and this is backed with more than 1,500 projects worth another £40 billion. We expect to see Stahlin enclosures used in a variety of external applications such as solar farms, wind farms, ports, harbors, railways and chemical plants, as well as interior aggressive environments such as food processing and manufacturing.”

Univolt UK has developed a product stock profile that covers a range of Stahlin’s most popular enclosures for the launch of Stahlin products in the UK. Inventory will be held in Welwyn Garden City. Univolt has easy access to products with fast turn-around from Stahlin’s factory in Belding, Michigan. Univolt will also be implementing stock into a network of wholesalers around the country to support and create demand.
