PRATT, Kan. — Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., a leading wholesale electrical distributor in Kansas, has announced a significant leadership transition effective March 10, 2025.
After more than three decades of dedicated service, President and Chairman of the Board, Bill Keller, will begin transitioning toward retirement in a gradual and planned manner. This change marks the beginning of a new chapter for Stanion, as the company prepares for continued growth and success in the coming years.
Keller, who has served as President of Stanion since June 1990 and Chairman of the Board since the passing of Jud Stanion in December 2010, has decided to reduce his full-time responsibilities and gradually step back from day-to-day operations. While Bill will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, the President role will be handed over to Marc Stinson, who will assume the position on March 10, 2025.
“I’m not going away, I’m just stepping back,” said Bill. “I’ve already been transitioning some of my responsibilities to others over the past few years, and I’m confident that Marc will take the company forward in exciting new directions. I plan to stay engaged with the company and look forward to continuing to work alongside Marc and the rest of the team as we navigate our future.”
Stinson, the incoming President, has been a key leader at Stanion for many years and is well-positioned to build on the company’s strong foundation. With a deep understanding of the business and a passion for innovation, Marc’s leadership will be crucial as Stanion Wholesale continues to evolve and grow in an ever-changing market.
Stanion Wholesale Electric remains committed to its mission of providing exceptional service and solutions to customers, and this leadership transition is part of a broader strategy to ensure continued success for generations to come.
