Steve Korb Retires From Siemens

After spending 38 years in the supply chain, including the last 25 at Siemens, Steve Korb has officially retired. His last day on the job was March 31, 2020.

As Vice President, Steve Korb was responsible for directing all sales activities of the company’s construction product categories ranging from residential products to engineered power distribution systems to home automation.

Mr. Korb’s responsibilities include forging strategic relationships with our customers and business partners while directing sales, planning and reporting for the Construction Sales team.  Headquartered at Siemens Industry, Inc. Corporate Office in Alpharetta, Georgia, Steve managed a team of 4 regional directors focused on growing market share in the Construction industry.

He joined Siemens Industry, Inc. in 1994 to work with the Murray Electric Products line.  In this capacity, he managed the national selling and marketing activities for the residential retail market.  He has since served in various marketing and sales roles at Siemens.  Prior to his employment at Siemens he spent 13 years at General Electric’s Lighting Business Group as the National Account Manager responsible for Home Depot.

Korb also served on the Manufacturer’s Council for the National Association of Electrical Distributors.

Mr. Korb earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia.
