Summit Electric Supply Names President and CEO

Patrick Davis

Victor Jury, Jr, Executive Chairman of Summit Electric Supply announced today on behalf of Summit’s Board of Directors and Shareholders that Patrick Davis will join the company as President and CEO. Davis will work closely with Jury through the transition and going forward to continue Summit’s 42 years of growth and success.

“I’m excited to name Pat as Summit’s next CEO. He is a disciplined leader whose reputation and ability to execute speaks for itself,” said Jury. “Our Board of Directors and I set a high bar for Summit’s next leader, and we are extremely confident Pat’s leadership style, skill set, and experience will be a great fit. I am confident that under Pat’s leadership, Summit will continue to grow, finding new and innovative ways to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers, associates, and vendors.”

Davis has more than 25 years’ experience within electrical distribution, most recently as the Northeast Region President at Rexel, USA, where he had full line responsibility for Rexel and Gexpro operations. Before that, Davis served in various Vice President, Senior Vice President, and General Manager roles where his functional responsibilities included sales, marketing, and operations.

“Summit is a well-respected company with a long and proud history within the industry. I am looking forward to working closely with Vic, the Board and Summit’s talented team, to take Summit to new heights,” said Davis.

With Davis’ strong leadership and industry knowledge in place, Jury will transition to Executive Chairman, focused on refining the company’s guiding principles, strategic vision and direction, as well as mergers and acquisitions. This is the culmination of a multi-year plan to ensure Summit’s future as an independent and privately held company. This process included the formation of an independent Board of Directors in early
2018.

“Hiring Pat is the next step in the plan Summit set in motion in 2015, and I could not be more excited about Summit’s future,” said Jury.
