Skeet Spangler

Skeet Spangler has been named the company’s new EP&C Director. Spangler will be based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will report to the Vice President of Strategic Sales, Dave Armstrong.

Spangler entered the electrical supply industry in 1988 and has amassed great amounts of industry experience across a variety of roles. Prior to joining Summit, Spangler spent more than 25 years in management positions for a large electrical distributor. He is adept at formulating sales strategies, developing personnel and managing vendor accounts and relationships.

“In this industry, the ability to lead a team and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturers is a necessity,” said Armstrong. “Throughout his career, Skeet has proven he can do this and more. His prior management of EP&C divisions has been characterized by strong sales growth that has been sustained across a multitude of customer markets.”

Nicole Sartena

Summit also announced that Nicole Sartena has been selected as the new Service Center Leader for the company’s Austin location. In this role, Sartena will be responsible for growing new and existing sales accounts, building relationships with vendors and customers, hiring and training new personnel, and the day-to-day activities of the branch. Sartena will report to the South Texas District Vice President, Richard Landry.

Prior to joining Summit, Sartena worked in multiple managerial positions for a global industrial distributor, where she demonstrated strong leadership skills through significant sales growth and meaningful employee engagement. In addition to her on-the-job experience, Sartena holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

“Nicole’s practical experience in business-to-business distribution and her ability to foster robust work environments makes her the perfect choice to lead Summit’s Austin service center,” said Landry. “We’re all very excited to see her knowledge and abilities at work.”
